FCC Seeks Comments on Improving Speech-to-Speech and Internet Protocol Telecommunications Relay Services

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking public comment on ways to enhance the provision of Speech-to-Speech (STS) services, including modifying the minimum call duration for Communications Assistants and improving outreach efforts, as well as the compensation rate for Internet Protocol STS (IP STS) and its eligibility for funding from the Interstate TRS Fund.
