FDA Terminates and Recharter Risk Communication Advisory Committee

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is terminating and rechartering the Risk Communication Advisory Committee to implement the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act as amended by the Food and Drug Administration Amendments Act of 2007, changing the committee from discretionary to statutory. The FDA is also revising its regulations to reflect the recharter and update the committee's function statement.
