FDA Issues Final Rule to Improve Egg Safety, Hold Public Meetings

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has finalized a rule to prevent Salmonella Enteritidis in shell eggs during production, storage, and transportation, and will hold public meetings to discuss the new regulations.
