FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Induction of Estrus in Ewes

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its animal drug regulations to reflect approval of a new animal drug application filed by Pfizer, Inc., for use of a progesterone intravaginal insert to induce estrus in ewes during seasonal anestrus.
