FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 747 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive for certain Boeing Model 747 airplanes, requiring inspections of the trunnion fork assembly to prevent a fractured trunnion fork assembly that could lead to reduced controllability of the airplane.
