Annual Report on New Bridge Construction and Bridge Rehabilitation: Federal Requirements for Bridge Materials

The Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act of 2005 (SAFETEA-LU) mandates the U.S. Department of Transportation to publish an annual report on the construction materials used in new Federal-aid bridge projects, as part of its efforts to improve the condition of highway bridges across the country.
