FHWA Revises Roadside Safety Hardware Acceptance Regulation

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is updating its guidelines for quality assurance procedures on Federal-aid highway projects, requiring laboratories conducting crash tests on roadside safety hardware to be accredited by a recognized accrediting body, such as NACLA or ILAC, to ensure the reliability of crash test results.
