NMFS Establishes Industry Fee System for Bering Sea Groundfish Fishery Loan Repayment

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has implemented a fee system to repay a $35 million Federal loan used to finance a fishing capacity reduction program in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands non-pollock groundfish fishery, affecting the longline catcher processor subsector.
