USDA Increases Honey Assessment Rate for First Handlers and Importers

The US Department of Agriculture has implemented a new assessment rate for first handlers and importers of honey and honey products, increasing it from 1.5 cents to 2 cents per pound over two fiscal periods, as recommended by the National Honey Board.
