EPA Proposes New Rule for Mercury Use in Motor Vehicles

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing a significant new use rule for elemental mercury used in certain motor vehicle components, requiring manufacturers to notify the agency 90 days prior to production, and amending the Office of Management and Budget approval numbers for EPA regulations.
