US Sentencing Commission to Hold Public Hearing on Retroactive Application of Crack and Criminal History Amendments

The US Sentencing Commission has scheduled a public hearing to discuss whether two amendments, related to crack cocaine offenses and criminal history rules, should be applied retroactively to previously sentenced defendants, as previously announced on May 21, 2007, and September 11, 2007.
