Vessel Documentation Rule Takes Effect

The U.S. Coast Guard has finalized a rule to eliminate the need to submit original documents to the National Vessel Documentation Center for recording and to waive the additional fee for filing by facsimile, as scheduled to take effect on August 2, 2007.
