EPA Approves Modification to California's MSWLF Permit Program

The Environmental Protection Agency Region IX has approved a modification to California's municipal solid waste landfill permit program, allowing the state to issue research, development, and demonstration permits for new and existing landfills and expansions, with the option to waive certain regulations under certain conditions.
