Bureau of Industry and Security to Mandate Electronic Filing of Export and Reexport License Applications

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is proposing a rule that would require the electronic submission of export and reexport license applications, classification requests, and other related documents through its Simplified Network Application Process (SNAP-R) system, with exceptions for Special Comprehensive Licenses and certain paper submissions.
