FAA Proposes to Update Airworthiness Directive for Rolls-Royce RB211 Series Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to supersede an existing airworthiness directive for Rolls-Royce plc RB211-535E4-37, RB211-535E4-B-37, and RB211-535E4-B-75 series turbofan engines, which would relax the compliance schedule for repetitive inspections and introduce alternative inspection techniques.
