EPA Grants Exemptions to Solutia, Inc. for Hazardous Waste Injection at Chocolate Bayou Facility

The Environmental Protection Agency has granted exemptions to Solutia, Inc. for two Class I injection wells at its Chocolate Bayou Facility in Alvin, Texas, allowing the company to inject specific hazardous wastes into the wells until December 31, 2020, unless terminated by the EPA.
