US Government Announces Funding for Lyme Disease Research: Evaluating Natural Products and Vaccine Formulations

The Disease, Disability, and Injury Prevention and Control Special Emphasis Panel (SEP) has announced two funding opportunities to evaluate the efficacy of natural products and reservoir-targeted vaccine formulations in preventing Lyme disease, a tick-borne illness caused by the Borrelia burgdorferi spirochetes.
