Medicaid Program Announces Final DSH Allotments and Payment Limits for 2006 and 2008

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the final Federal share disproportionate share hospital (DSH) allotments for Fiscal Year 2006 and the preliminary allotments for Fiscal Year 2008, as well as the final and preliminary limitations on aggregate DSH payments for institutions treating mental illness and other mental health facilities.
