NMFS Announces Final Rule for 2008 Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Quota Specifications and Effort Controls

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has released a final rule to establish 2008 fishing year quotas for the Atlantic bluefin tuna fishery, in line with ICCAT recommendations and domestic management objectives, as mandated by the Atlantic Tunas Convention Act and the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
