NRC Proposes Fatigue Analysis Methodology for Nuclear Power Plants
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is proposing a regulatory issue summary to inform nuclear power plant licensees of a new analysis methodology for demonstrating compliance with the ASME Code's fatigue acceptance criteria, which could be non-conservative if not applied correctly.
