Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Consider Rulemaking Proposal for Armed Guards at Nuclear Power Plants

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is reviewing a petition for rulemaking submitted by Scott Portzline on behalf of the Three Mile Island Alert, which seeks to require armed guards at entrances to owner-controlled areas surrounding U.S. nuclear power plants.
