NRC Proposes Clarification on Emergency License Condition Requirements

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing a regulatory issue summary to clarify the requirements for licensees to depart from a license condition or technical specification in an emergency, as outlined in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.54(y).
