NRC Extends Public Comment Period for Draft GEIS on In-Situ Leach Uranium Milling Facilities

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is extending the public comment period for its draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (Draft GEIS) on In-Situ Leach Uranium Milling Facilities until November 7, 2008, following a notice published on September 19, 2008, in the Federal Register (73 FR 54435)
