Government Agencies Finalize Rule Allowing GAO to Interview Contractor Employees During Audits

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have adopted a final rule amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation to implement a provision from the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009, allowing the Government Accountability Office to interview current contractor employees during the audit of their records.
