FDA Issues Temporary Permit for Canned Pacific Salmon Deviating From Identity Standard

The FDA has granted a temporary permit to Yardarm Knot Fisheries, LLC, to test market canned Pacific salmon that doesn't meet the U.S. standard for canned Pacific salmon, in order to gauge consumer acceptance and assess commercial viability.
