U.S. Department of State Proposes Amendment to Export Exemption for Technical Data Under ITAR

The U.S. Department of State is proposing to amend the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to clarify an exemption for technical data, which would cover data sent or taken by U.S. employees to U.S. or foreign government agencies, regardless of format or media.
