FEMA Amends Oregon Disaster Declaration for Public Assistance
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has amended its declaration of a major disaster for the State of Oregon, primarily for public assistance, following a severe winter storm that caused record and near-record snow, landslides, and mudslides in December 2008. The amended declaration is effective as of April 2, 2009, and provides a deadline for physical loan applications on May 1, 2009, and economic injury loan applications on December 2, 2009.
