EPA Approves Texas State Implementation Plan Revisions for Houston/Galveston/Brazoria Ozone Nonattainment Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved revisions to the Texas State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Mass Emissions Cap and Trade (MECT) program, which aims to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions in the Houston/Galveston/Brazoria ozone nonattainment area, in compliance with the Federal Clean Air Act (CAA).
