Coast Guard Updates Drawbridge Operation Regulations for Delaware Bridges

The U.S. Coast Guard is modifying the rules governing the opening of four Delaware Department of Transportation bridges, allowing them to open on signal with advance notice given between 4 and 48 hours, eliminating the need for continuous draw tender services during non-peak boating periods.
