Bureau of Land Management Amends Regulations for Alaska Native Veteran Allotments
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is amending its regulations to simplify the process of applying for Alaska Native veteran allotments, removing the requirement for applicants to physically mark the land with their name and address prior to filing an application. This change aims to streamline the processing of these allotments, making it more comparable to those adjudicated under the Native Allotment Act of 1906.
