EPA Approves Pennsylvania's Revised NOx Emission Reduction Plan for Philadelphia Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving Pennsylvania's revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in the Philadelphia-Trenton-Wilmington one-hour ozone nonattainment area. The plan aims to meet the Clean Air Act's requirements for NOx reductions from stationary internal combustion engines and cement kilns.
