NMFS Adjusts Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Retention Limits for General Category Fishermen

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has increased the daily retention limits for Atlantic bluefin tuna (BFT) in the General category to allow for a reasonable opportunity to harvest the General category quota from October through January, providing enhanced commercial fishing opportunities while minimizing the risk of overharvest.
