EPA Issues Final Rule to Reduce Reporting Burdens for Certain Air Releases of NOX

The Environmental Protection Agency is issuing a final rule that will reduce reporting burdens under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980, as amended, and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, also known as Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act, for releases of nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide resulting from combustion of less than 1,000 pounds of NOX in 24 hours.
