EPA Terminates Certain Uses of Dichlorvos (DDVP) Pesticide

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a cancellation order to terminate certain uses of the pesticide dichlorvos (DDVP) and amend its labels, following a voluntary request from the registrant and acceptance by the Agency, pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The cancellation order affects the use of DDVP in various products, including hand held foggers and pest strips, but not the last registered products in the US.
