Disqualification for Airman and Medical Certificate Holders Based on Alcohol Violations and Refusals To Submit to Drug or Alcohol Testing

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has updated its airman medical certification standards to disqualify pilots based on alcohol test results of 0.04 or greater breath alcohol concentration (BAC) or refusal to submit to required drug or alcohol testing. This change corrects a regulation published in the Federal Register on June 21, 2006.
