Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Fireworks Safety Zones in Fifth Coast Guard District

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing to update the list of permanent safety zones for fireworks displays in the Fifth Coast Guard District to better protect mariners and the public from potential hazards, and entry into these zones will be restricted during enforcement periods without prior approval from the Captain of the Port.
