Commercial Quota Harvested for Summer Flounder in New York

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced that the commercial quota for summer flounder in New York has been fully harvested for the remainder of 2006. As a result, vessels with a Federal fisheries permit for the summer flounder fishery are prohibited from landing summer flounder in New York until additional quota becomes available.
