FAA Extends Comment Period for Alaska Airlines' Exemption Petition

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has granted a request from the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) to extend the comment period for Alaska Airlines' petition for exemption from a rule requiring flight attendants to enter the pilot compartment in case of an incapacitated crew member, allowing the airline to modify its B737-400 operations.
