Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Haleakala National Park Air Tour Management Plan

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Park Service (NPS) have decided to proceed with the development of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for an Air Tour Management Plan (ATMP) at Haleakala National Park, following consultations and analysis of environmental impacts. This decision is based on information gathered during the EA scoping process and preliminary ATMP alternatives.
