FAA Proposes Establishment of Class E-2 Airspace at Griffiss Airfield in Rome, NY

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed the creation of a new Class E-2 airspace at Griffiss Airfield in Rome, New York, to facilitate the opening of a tower and improve safety for instrument approaches, with the area to be depicted on aeronautical charts for pilot reference.
