Medicare Program; Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and CY 2007 Payment Rates

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released a final rule updating the Medicare hospital outpatient prospective payment system for CY 2007, which includes changes to payment rates and covered procedures for ambulatory surgical centers. The rule also requires reporting on quality measures for hospital outpatient services starting in CY 2009.
