NMFS Announces Harvest of Atlantic Bluefish Commercial Quota for Rhode Island

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced that the commercial quota for Atlantic bluefish available to Rhode Island has been fully utilized, and vessels with a Federal fisheries permit for the Atlantic bluefish fishery are prohibited from landing bluefish in Rhode Island for the remainder of 2006, unless additional quota becomes available through a transfer.
