Atlantic Bluefish Commercial Quota Harvested in New York for Remainder of 2006

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced that the commercial quota for Atlantic bluefish available to New York has been fully utilized, and vessels with a Federal fisheries permit for the Atlantic bluefish fishery are prohibited from landing bluefish in New York for the remainder of 2006, unless additional quota becomes available through a transfer.
