National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Establishes Quotas for Large Coastal Sharks, Small Coastal Sharks, and Pelagic Sharks in the Atlantic Ocean

The NOAA has published a combined final and temporary rule to address over- and underharvests in the Atlantic shark fishery, setting quotas for large coastal sharks, small coastal sharks, and pelagic sharks, and opening the mid-Atlantic shark closed area in July 2007.
