RailAmerica Secures Control Exemption from STB
RailAmerica, Inc. has received a control exemption from the Surface Transportation Board (STB), allowing the company to operate without federal regulation. The exemption was granted by Fortress Investment Group LLC, which acquired RailAmerica in 2010.
