MainStay Funds File Application with SEC for Merger with BlackRock's iShares

MainStay Funds, a subsidiary of BlackRock, has submitted a notice of application to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a merger with iShares, a leading provider of exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The proposed merger aims to expand iShares' product offerings and strengthen its position in the ETF market.
