Nuclear Regulatory Commission Announces Technical Specification Improvement for Inoperable Control Room Air Conditioning Subsystems

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has announced the availability of a technical specification improvement for two inoperable control room air conditioning subsystems at nuclear power reactors. The proposed changes allow for a limited time to restore one control room AC subsystem to operable status and require verification of a temperature limit of 90°F every 4 hours.
