Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for TN-68 Spent Fuel Storage Cask Rule

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of October 30, 2007, for a direct final rule that revised the TN-68 cask system listing to include Amendment No. 1 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1027, as published in the Federal Register on August 16, 2007.
