U.S. Census Bureau Mandates Automated Export System Filing for Shipments Requiring Shipper's Export Declaration

The U.S. Census Bureau has issued a final rule requiring the mandatory filing of export information through the Automated Export System (AES) or AESDirect for all shipments that require a Shipper's Export Declaration (SED), as mandated by the Foreign Relations Authorization Act.
