FDA Proposes Changes to Regulations for Thermally Processed Low-Acid Foods

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to update its regulations for thermally processed low-acid foods packaged in hermetically sealed containers to allow for the use of alternative temperature-indicating devices, improve recordkeeping requirements, and clarify aspects of low-acid canned food processing.
